Are you …

  • Interested in the automotive sector and ready to begin a career in Auto Body and Collision Damage Repair?
  • Able to commit to a 30 week full-time program from April 12 to November 15, 2010?
  • Ready to be part of an exciting field that is expected to have career growth over the next 5 years?

Program Requirements

  • OSSD (Grade 12 diploma) or the equivalent
  • Between the ages of 18 and 30 years old
  • Legally entitled to work in Canada (SIN Card)
  • Valid Ontario Driver’s License

Participants will have access to:

  • An introduction to the basics of the auto body trade
  • 6 weeks of pre-employment training, including interview preparation, resume writing, WHMIS training, employment counselling and job coaching
  • Level 1 Auto Body and Collision Damage Repair course at Centennial College
  • Toolkit and course materials
  • Connections with employers who will provide industry information and answer questions
  • Tours at local auto body repair shops
  • A 12-week paid work placement with an employer

    Program Duration: April 12 to November 15, 2010 (30 weeks)
      Cost: FREE
        Application Deadline: March 31, 2010
